o Typically a 3 day camp out with what the community calls FIREwalkers. CampFI is an inclusive place, open to everyone regardless of where you are on the path to Financial Independence (from heavily in debt to already Financially Independent). NOT JUST FOR BLOGGERS! People from all walks of life including students, dentists, lawyers, engineers, accountants, and members of the military share their unique experiences and interesting stories. Strong and lasting friendships will be made.

o There are several CampFi events held all over the county. Midwest (MN), Mid Atlantic (VA), Rocky Mountain (CO), Texas, Southeast (FL), Southwest (FL). If you haven’t been you owe it to yourself to go.

o From the site - As with the 2022 conference, the first day will be dedicated to Bogleheads University, intended to provide a wide-ranging introduction and/or review of the Bogleheads approach to several aspects of personal finance and investing. This year, for the first time, attendees will have the option to attend either the 101 track, focused on investing fundamentals; or the 501 track, focused on more advanced topics.

o We’re also planning a special Bogleheads banquet on the evening of October 14. The banquet will feature a seated dinner; a conversation with an investing expert to be announced; and the 2023 inductee into the Bogleheads Hall of Fame.
